Commsignia is a leading software and hardware provider on the emerging Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2X) communication market, with a mission to increase traffic safety and efficiency on the road.
We are currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer, which gives you a great opportunity to be a part of a growing team working with the biggest automotive and smart city customers. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver high-quality customer support across pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales (L2/L3)
  • Provide consultative support: troubleshooting, system testing, and configuration advice
  • Coordinate product deliveries and installations
  • Maintain and improve internal support systems
  • Advise customers on system design and engineering topics
  • Investigate customer issues and document findings for Product Team
  • Communicate Commsignia’s technical value to customers and partners
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of V2X systems
  • Prepare and deliver technical trainings and presentations (mainly online)
  • Support PoC implementations and  occasionally Demo events
  • Mentor intern
  • Occasionally provide off-hours support (2–3 times/year, pre-scheduled

What makes you a great fit:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, EE, or equivalent practical background
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems and networks based on customer needs
  • Experience with Linux/Unix system administration
  • Proficient in Shell scripting and/or Python
  • Familiarity with C/C++ development
  • Willingness to travel internationally (~1 trip/year)
  • Excellent communication skills and proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Valid driver’s license

Not required, but awesome:

  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts
  • Familiarity with OpenWRT or Yocto is a plus
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Git
